How easily can antibiotics be bought without a prescription in Bengaluru? Student volunteers visit pharmacies in Koramangala, Bellandur, Varthur, Whitefield and Marathahalli and ask what the pharmacist would usually do for a customer with a sore throat and no prescription. They also note whether antibiotics are on open display and whether a pharmacist is on duty.

Results are shown only as totals for each neighborhood, with a 95% interval, so small samples are never overstated. No pharmacy or person is named.
